As a co-founder of CPACE, I developed an identity that could support exhibitions, workshops, open calls and everyday studio life. The modular system was designed to be adapted by every member, including those without formal design training.
The system was designed around a single goal: usable by anyone, designer or not. Its core is an oval that can be filled with any word — cpace, exhibition, popup, work, talk — so every member can produce their own posters, posts, and flyers without a designer in the loop. Some shirts even leave blank space to be filled by hand.
CPACE is a creative collective I co-founded with ten people from my university, after we took over an old copy shop and turned it into an atelier for exhibitions, workshops, and talks. The result is a brand that doubles as a community tool — lowering the barrier to participation and keeping the collective's output open and self-directed.
The visual system is intentionally open and customizable, allowing individual styles and aesthetics to coexist within a coherent structure. Playful yet systematic, the identity encourages experimentation while maintaining recognizability. Elements such as typography, icons, stickers, and apparel further extend the system into physical space — including garments designed to be manually altered and personalized, reinforcing participation and ownership.
The project deliverables included a logo system, brand guidelines, posters, flyers, stickers, and apparel. The result is a living identity that grows with the collective, reflecting CPACE’s ethos of sharing, collaboration, and community-driven creation.
